U11's - Junior Premier League Team (Season 2026/27)
As we complete our first season, it’s been a successful campaign.
We’ve competed in the Rotherham league while also playing in the regional Yorkshire Championship, facing opposition from across the county.
The season is finishing up and we've already been crowned Champions of the Yorkshire Championship, and now take our place in the Champions of Champions National Finals in May.
But, we're already looking towards next season.
We're looking for high-calibre players who are ready to test themselves on a national stage.

We're on the lookout for passionate young players who are eager to elevate their game and compete against some of the best teams in the country.
Due to the level of competition, players will typically already be playing in a high level grassroots team and be looking for additional match experience on Saturdays.
This team operates completely separately from Sunday League football team, so we welcome players from any club to join our JPL side.
This is for next season’s age groups, so players must be in Year 6 as of September 2026.

What is The Junior Premier League
The Junior Premier League (JPL) is England’s premier national youth football league, designed for players aged U7 to U18.
It focuses on player development while providing a highly competitive environment, allowing talented players to compete against top opposition while continuing to play for their local grassroots clubs on Sundays.
Join us for high-level Saturday football at an affordable cost.
Is the Junior Premier League the same as Grassroots?
The standard is generally higher than grassroots, and there are some differences in how the game is structured:
-
Games kick off between 9:30am and 2:00pm, unless travel time exceeds 90 minutes, in which case the earliest permitted kick-off is 10:00am.
-
At U11, matches are played at a central venue (Dearne Valley College) on a 3G pitch.
-
We are also considering moving up an age group to play 9v9, which would make Dinnington Town's Blackout13.com Arena (3G pitch) our home venue for weekend fixtures.
-
Matches are played over three periods of 17 minutes, or 4 x 20 minutes if we play up an year.
-
Every player in the matchday squad must play a minimum of 50% of the game.
-
Matchday squads can include up to 14 players (7 substitutes) for 7v7 games.
-
In line with FA guidelines, heading is not permitted at U7–U11 level.
