Saturday development centre

Every Saturday morning between 8:30am and 9:30am Dinnington Town Football Club hosts an hour long development centre for U7 / U8 / U9 / U10 boys & girls.

 

This is an open training session so everybody is welcome within these age groups. You don't need to play for a Dinnington Town team to attend. 

 

The sessions focus on ball mastery and players skills such as control, turning, running with the ball, shooting, defending with all sessions ending with a simulated match.

 

⚽ £4 a session.  Cash or card accepted.

⚽ U7 / U8 / U9 / U10 boys & girls

Train on our FIFA approved 3g pitch.

Pay-as-you-go training sessions so no block booking. Just turn up and play.

⚽ FA & UEFA qualified coaches with DBS checks, First Aid qualifications and Safeguarding qualifications

⚽ Hot & cold food and drink available

‼️ Appropriate footwear must be worn. Short blades or moulded studs. No flat soled shoes or trainers. Players will be refused access to the pitch if they are wearing incorrect footwear.

What to wear:

  • Most players wear the kits of their favourite football team, but anything they feel comfortable in is fine so long as it's easy to move in

  • The activity is outside at all times so in the colder months make sure they are in warm clothing

  • They'll need shin pads

  • The appropriate footwear must to be worn at all times. On our pitch this means boots or astro turf trainers. No flat soled shoes or trainers.

    • Boots must be clean of loose mud or grass

    • Only players or coaches are allowed on the pitch

    • Spectators must remain behind the fences at all times

Card and cash is accepted.

If you're interested just turn up and play at 9am. The address is Phoenix Park, Dinnington Resource Centre, 131 Laughton Road, Dinnington, Sheffield, S25 2PP, and you access the pitch via the Resource Centre.
