Dinnington Town produced a commanding performance at the Blackout13.com Arena to secure a 4–0 home victory over Glapwell, with a fast start and a controlled second-half display ensuring a comfortable afternoon for the hosts.
The tone was set almost immediately.
Dinnington Town struck inside two minutes when Tom Bishop opened the scoring to give the home side an early 1–0 advantage, settling any early nerves and allowing them to dictate the tempo from the outset.
With Dinnington Town enjoying the bulk of possession and territory, their pressure was rewarded again on the half-hour mark. Jordan Turner doubled the lead in the 30th minute, making it 2–0 and giving the hosts a firm grip on proceedings as they headed towards the interval.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Dinnington Town remaining patient and disciplined in their approach.
Their control was further underlined in the 69th minute when Turner added his second of the afternoon to extend the lead to 3–0.
Any lingering doubt was removed eight minutes later. Jordan Turner completed his hat-trick in the 77th minute, taking the scoreline to 4–0 and rounding off a decisive individual and collective performance.
From there, Dinnington Town managed the closing stages professionally, seeing out the match without alarm to record a clean sheet and a convincing home win.
