Full Time: Nostell Miners Welfare 1-4 Dinnington Town

Dinnington Town booked their place in the next round of thei County Cup with an impressive 4-1 victory away at Nostell Miners Welfare on Saturday afternoon.

The result continued their strong run of form and once again highlighted the attacking options within the side.

The first half proved competitive, with both teams working hard to gain control in midfield.

Chances were limited in the early stages, but Dinnington Town were handed the opportunity to strike first just after the half-hour mark.

Jordan Turner kept his composure from the penalty spot in the 31st minute to give the visitors a deserved 1-0 lead.

The hosts responded with a consolation goal to reduce the deficit, but any hopes of a late comeback were ended in the 88th minute when Jordan Turner struck again to seal a commanding 4-1 victory for Dinnington Town.

By the final whistle, the visitors could reflect on a controlled performance that showcased their strength in depth and clinical finishing.

Attention now turns back to league duties, with Dinnington Town aiming to build further momentum in the weeks ahead.
