Dinnington Town produced a remarkable comeback performance to secure a 2–4 victory away at Teversal, overturning a two-goal deficit despite being reduced to ten men in what was their second away fixture in the space of three days.

The visitors entered the contest under testing circumstances, and they found themselves behind almost immediately as Teversal took the lead inside two minutes to make it 1–0.

Dinnington Town were forced to regroup following the early setback, working hard to gain a foothold in the game, but the hosts maintained their advantage heading into the interval.

With the score at 1–0 at the break, Dinnington Town emerged for the second half looking to respond.

However, the challenge intensified shortly after the restart when Teversal doubled their lead in the 50th minute to make it 2–0.

Matters were further complicated moments later as Sam Foulds was dismissed following the goal, leaving Dinnington Town with ten men and a significant task ahead.

What followed was a display of resilience, determination, and attacking quality as Dinnington Town mounted an outstanding comeback.

Jordan Turner reduced the deficit in the 61st minute to make it 2–1, providing the visitors with a platform to build momentum.

That momentum continued to grow, and Cam Evans brought the sides level in the 68th minute at 2–2.

Sensing the shift in control, Dinnington Town pressed forward with intent.

Jordan Turner added his second of the afternoon in the 70th minute to turn the game on its head at 2–3, before completing his hat-trick in the 76th minute to extend the advantage to 2–4 and cap off an exceptional individual and team performance.

Despite their numerical disadvantage, Dinnington Town managed the closing stages with composure, seeing out the contest to secure an impressive victory under challenging conditions.

After the match, manager Gary Eades praised the character shown by his side:“What a performance 2–0 down and a man sent off but we fought for everything and turned the game around! Pure desire and unbelievable team effort! Deserved the 3 points!”

Next up, Dinnington Town play away to Brodsworth in the league on Saturday. Kick-off is at 3:00pm.
