Dinnington Town ended the year with a home defeat to league leaders Retford United, but remain 3rd in the Black Dragon Premier Division North.
Retford United took the lead on the 40th minute as
Jonathan Froggatt tapped in at the far post. Retford United doubled their lead with a penalty in first half added time, with Mark West converting fro the spot.
In the second half Dinnington Town pulled a goal back on 52 minutes via a good finish by Brad Sedgwick, only for Retford United to extend their lead in the 82 minute through Mark West, who grabbed a brace for the day.
The match ended 1-3 to the visitors as Dinnington Town suffered just their 3rd home league defeat of the season
